University of Tokyo Japanese Government MEXT Scholarship 2022 is now accepting applications from all over the world. Eligibility Criteria:

For the Japanese Government MEXT Scholarship, 2022 applicants must have

completed their Undergraduate Degree or Master Degree.

If applicants applied to PhD program then they must have Bachelor’s Degree and

a Master’s Degree.

Applicant last degree grade is at least 2.3 out of 3.0 scale.

Those applicants whose born before 02-04-1987 are not eligible.

Language Proficiency Requirement:

English:

Applicant must have an English proficiency test score certificate equivalent to B2 or

above on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) scale

( TOEFL 72 or above, IELTS 5.5 or above).

Japanese:

Applicant passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) with a score of N2 or higher.

Has completed an educational program whose primary language of instruction is

Japanese that satisfies the entrance requirements for the Master’s Program or Doctoral Program at the Graduate School of Science, the University of Tokyo
