Eligibility Criteria:

1. For the Honjo International Scholarships, 2022 applicants must have completed their Undergraduate Degree or 16 years of Education for Master Scholarship and 18 year Education or Master for PhD Scholarships
   
2. Age must be under 30 for Master and 35 for PhD aspirants
3. Students must be enrolled in a graduate school in Japan as of April 2022 or are actively applying for an academic course as of April 2022
4. The student must have a profound understanding of international cooperation and goodwill and must engage as an alumni participant in the activities arranged by the foundation and take part in the network.
5. Language Requirement: The student must be able to have a conversation in Japanese every day. The interview would be in Japanese.

1. Educational Documents (Transcripts or degrees)
2. Research Proposal (Template for Research Proposal)
3. Recommendation Letter (will be submitted by the recommender directly through email at info@hisf.or.jp)
4. Admission Letter or Letter of Acceptance (Please upload the certificate of enrollment only if the student is already enrolling in the graduate school)

Benefits

1. ¥200,000 per month for 1 or 2 years
2. ¥180,000 per month for 3 years
3. ¥150,000 per month for 4 years or 5 years
